Trade show planning pushed, trade show message set

The members of the Green SmartFactory 4.0 initiative met at the headquarters of the Industry Business Network 4.0 in Bad Wörishofen, Bavaria. On the agenda: the joint presentation at a joint stand at EuroBLECH 2022 and the further procedure regarding the development of concrete use cases and business models around our open source networking solution IndustryFusion.
 

Represented at the latest Green SmartFactory 4.0 meeting were the companies Kemppi, Ibeda, Guttroff, Eckelmann, Novus, Teka, MicroStep and Mittelstand.AI.

During an introduction to the topic of EaaS (Equipment-as-a-Service) by Guido Emmelius, Director of Volksbank Mittelhessen and Managing Director of Mittelstand.ai GmbH & Co. KG, it became clear how far-reaching networked manufacturing and smart products will also change the financing of capital goods. Together with other partners, Mittelstand.AI is working on the practical implementation of the topic based on the open source networking solution IndustryFusion.

"IndustryFusion: The new standard of digitalization"

The event focused on the joint trade fair presentation of members of the Green SmartFactory 4.0 at EuroBLECH 2022 in Hanover. Seven exhibitors will present themselves there across manufacturers on a booth totaling more than 250 m² and demonstrate which use cases and business models they are implementing on the basis of the open source networking solution IndustryFusion. Among other things, the central trade fair message has been defined as "IndustryFusion: the new standard of digitalization!" A trade fair preview report is to be sent to the trade press on behalf of the IndustryFusion Foundation at the beginning of September.

Preparations underway for Demofab in Bad Wörishofen

In the next steps, the capability directories that enable the standardized connection of plants, machines and components to the IndustryFusion network will now be specified. The members of the Green SmartFactory 4.0 already have their sights set on the first planned IndustryFusion Demofab, which will go into operation in Bad Wörishofen in 2023. There, users will be able to experience live the added value that cross-manufacturer networked manufacturing can offer them.
