Industry Business Network presents itself in Brussels
As part of the annual reception of the Parliamentary Group of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Europe (PKM Europe), the association "Industry Business Network 4.0" is presenting itself today at a trade fair in the European Parliament. The topic of the day at the Representation of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in Brussels is the digitalization of medium-sized industry.
The keynote address will be given by Mariya Gabriel, EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society. Further keynote speeches will follow from Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Arndt Günther Kirchhoff, CEO Kirchhof Group and member of the presidiums of the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and the Confederation of German Employers' Associations (BDA), as well as Prof. Michael Hüther, Director of the Institute of the German Economy (IW).
Part of the get-together is a small trade fair where a small number of innovative companies present themselves - such as KUKA Roboter GmbH and the Industry Business Network 4.0. Markus Ferber, Member of the European Parliament and Chairman of PKM Europe invited the SME initiative to this event in Brussels. He was at the Trade Congress Manufacturing 4.0 of the association last year was the closing speaker and was enthusiastic about the initiative: "It makes sense to network not only the machines, but also the people. With the Industry Business Network, you have created an excellent network that is capable of great things," said Ferber on the subject of industrial digitization.
