SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025: Focus on digitalization

Strong partners at one stand, smart technology and a networking solution that will revolutionize production: The IndustryFusion Foundation has a lot to offer at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN. The foundation is a cooperation partner of the world's leading exhibition and will be presenting the manufacturer-independent open source networking solution IndustryFusion-X at the exhibition in Essen.

SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025 will take place from 15 to 19 September 2025 at Messe Essen and will once again focus on the topics of digitalization and networking. As a cooperation partner of the two organizers, Messe Essen and DVS (Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e. V.), the IndustryFusion Foundation is helping to shape the world's largest exhibition for the joining, cutting and coating industry.

The foundation will be presenting the manufacturer-independent open source networking solution IndustryFusion-X: this innovative system will increase added value in the manufacturing industry, boost productivity and make production processes within and between companies significantly more efficient. "IndustryFusion-X is the basis and the central system that enables factory operators to network their production, machines and plant manufacturers to digitalize their products and providers of digital services to offer their services via a standardized platform," says Igor Mikulina, President of the IndustryFusion Foundation Board.

Visitors can experience a lot at the IndustryFusion Foundation stand. For example, several use cases, such as a smart laser cutting system, will be available for live demonstration purposes. Strong partners from the IT sector, such as Intel, SUSE, Dell and IONOS, will be on the stand to answer questions about open, manufacturer-independent and interoperable networking with IndustryFusion. Sopra Steria, a specialist in Equipment-as-a-Service (EaaS), will also be at the IFF stand.
